Supervision

The formal supervision, by approved supervisors of a relationship-based education and training that is work-focused and which manages, supports and evaluates the work of colleagues’ (Milne, 2007)

I am a member of the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) and I have many years of experience supervising qualified and trainee psychologist; CBT therapist and counsellors in the NHS. My approach is idiosyncratic to each individual depending on their preferred model and experience.

An essential part of my supervision approach is to provide a safe and confidential environment for individuals to reflect on and discuss their work and their personal and professional responses to their work. I thoroughly enjoy supporting individuals in their personal and professional growth and becoming effective and competent practitioners
