Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)-The aim of CBT is to help you explore and change how you think about your life, and free yourself from unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy -Psychodynamic therapy focuses on helping you understand how your unconscious and past experiences may determine current behaviour.
Person-centred therapy – It encourages people to think about their feelings and take responsibility for their thoughts and actions. The emphasis is on self-development and achieving your highest potential
Integrative Psychotherapy -Integrative therapy looks at the whole person, taking into account your mental, physical and emotional needs. Techniques and tools from different modalities are used to help the individual improve their wellbeing.
Eye Movement dessentitation and reprocessing (EMDR) -EMDR is another talking therapy that’s been developed to help people who have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT) -BCT aims to address elements of the couple’s relationship that are known to have a direct effect on the occurrence of depression. A key component of this therapy is to focus on improving communication difficulties within the relationship.
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) -IPT is a talking treatment that helps people with depression identify and address problems in their relationships with family, partners and friends.
Dialetic Behvaioral Therapy (DBT) -DBT helps you to become more aware of your emotions and learn healthy ways to deal with them.
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) -Mindfulness-based therapies help you focus on your thoughts and feelings as they happen moment by moment.
